The Pack of 11 : Ting - Ting the Survivor

We called him Ting - Ting because the way he walked while he was little, there was a sad story before our little cousin brought him back home. We found 3 kittens and one of them is ting ting around our home the day before but they are still afraid of people, so we decided not to keep them and put them in the empty house next to our house, because we thought they must be with their mother at that time. But my sister found one of them killed by car the next day, so we try to find them but they already gone until our cousin finally found one of them ting ting.

We adopted him while we still lived in Bali so he was took care by our sister in Jakarta, Ting ting likes to after and bites anyone or anything whenever he feel disturbed since he was little till now. It was funny when he was little but its scarry now because he is a big cat now, My hand got bited twice by him.

The Pack of 11 : Shadow

We named her Shadow after a cartoon movie "how to teach your dragon". Its a female with thick black coat. She used to stay at our porch everyday. We usually feed her and the rest of the strays in front of the garage. Sometimes it became a liability when we parked the car. So in the end we adopted her. After being castrated she becoming sturdy and playful as ever. She likes to cuddle at ones leg and sometimes in the playful atmosphere she bite and scratch our legs or hands...but not to worry it doesn't hurt.

The Pack of 11 : Onta

As we promised to post the pack of 11, we decided to post them one by one with their profile and photos. This time we choosed our Grey Tubby Onta to begin The Pack of 11 posting series.

Onta mean Camel in Bahasa Indonesia. We called it Onta because he drank all the time while he was a kitten. Little Onta was found by our little cousin in the neighbourhood when he was about 2 months old. He was by himself without his mother around so our cousin decided to took him and gave it to us.

Now Onta is already reach his maturity, he was handsome for a male cat, adorable and charming. Onta loves to be around the people, not agressive and easy to hold. The bad things are he always agressive to new cat or kitten, he needs longer time to get along with new cat.

6 Become 18 Plus 10

Thats all the figure of total cats living with us from Bali to Jakarta. Back in Bali we have 5 cats before we moved back to Jakarta. We decided to took all of them back to jakarta plus one cat from our neighbor friend.

In Jakarta my wife has a problem with abandoned cats in the street especially kitten. She couldnt stand to rescued them from the street and brought them home. In 6 month since we moved in to Jakarta my wife already adopted 12 cats from the street, almost all of them are kitten when my wife adopted them. The last two adopted street kitten are Shelly and Sofie.

So now we have 18 cats living with us, because my father wants us to live with him, so we given up our room for the 18 and made us to pick a praying room as our temporary room.

Before we moved in to my father house in Jakarta, my sister that still living in the same house already had 10 cats kept in the cage. So now adding with our 18 in my room and 10 kept in the cage. We have 28 cats and kittens in the house.

Since we're not living in our own house, the cats existence are kind of disturbing the other family member that not really like cat. So we plan to build a larger cage to kept the 28 cats, we think thats the best solution for the family comfort and also the cats.To build a large cat cage we have a problem because in the mean time we also have to feed all the cats, almost all our money are allocated for cats food and sand for their litter box. But we believe we will find a solution to build the big cage for the 28.
